Serotonin Spritz Is Not a Citrus Fragrance. It's a Feeling.

It starts late on purpose. Nobody's checking the time. There's a drink with condensation running down the glass and someone says "one more" and means it three more times. The sun is doing that thing where it makes everyone look better than they actually look. You're not thinking about tomorrow. You're not thinking, period. You're just in it.

That's not a vacation or a place. That's a feeling. And it's the one Serotonin Spritz was built to bottle.

What it actually smells like:

Grapefruit, pink pepper, pomelo zest — the opening is immediate and a little sharp, like the first sip of something cold. Then it shifts into a tequila accord, rare to do well in fragrance, paired with thyme, geranium, and cassis leaf. It's warm where the top notes were sharp, a little loose where they were precise. The base — watery musk, cedarwood, amber — is what's left after the party winds down. Skin, salt air, sun.

It doesn't smell like sunscreen. It doesn't smell like a candle named after a beach. It smells like the actual chemistry of a good summer day — the part that's hard to manufacture and impossible to fake.

Why "a feeling" and not "a scent":

Every L'Epoque fragrance is built around an emotional thesis, not a category. Dopamine Rose isn't "a rose fragrance" — it's the feeling of being seen exactly the way you see yourself. Inner Child isn't "a clean fragrance" — it's the relief of returning to yourself with no audience.

Serotonin Spritz is the feeling of a day that refuses to follow a schedule. The version of joy you don't interrogate because interrogating it might end it. We didn't want to make something that smelled tropical. We wanted to make something that smelled like not checking your phone.

Who this is for:

The person who treats summer as a verb, not a season. Who knows the best plans are the ones that get extended past where they were supposed to end. Who wants a fragrance that doesn't politely suggest summer — it insists on it.

The collaboration:

Serotonin Spritz is our first fragrance made with IFF, developed alongside perfumers Carlos Benaim and Laurent le Guernec.  It's the most ambitious thing we've made, and it's the one we're most excited to put on skin.
