Two New Scents. Two Very Different Feelings.
We don't do collections. We don't do seasons.
We release scents when they're ready — when the feeling is right, when the formula earns it, when we can say with certainty that this one deserves to exist. Inner Child and Dreams and Nightmares are ready.
They have almost nothing in common. That's the point.
INNER CHILD
This one is quiet in a way that takes you by surprise.
Not quiet like forgettable — quiet like private. Like the version of you that exists before anyone else is in the room. Before the performance starts. Before you've decided who you're going to be today.
The brief was: the perfect everything shower and comfort of returning to yourself.
Perfumer Elena Ruiz built it around linen and bergamot at the top — clean, unhurried, the smell of a morning that belongs to you. Freesia, vanilla, and lily of the valley bloom through the middle: soft and familiar without being sweet in a way that wears on you. The base is white wood, birch, and skin musk. It dries down to something that smells less like a fragrance and more like you — the best version, on the best day.
It's the kind of scent nobody can place but everybody notices. They'll ask if you just got out of the shower. They'll ask what you're wearing. They won't be able to decide.
Inner Child is for the days you don't need to be anything in particular. The soft start. The slow morning. The exhale.
DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES
This one is not soft. This one has edges.
The same place can save you or swallow you whole. That was where we started. The feeling of something beautiful and unsettling arriving at the same time — desire and fear sharing the same moment, and not wanting to send either of them away. Because the things that haunt you are usually the same things you're chasing.
Elena built this one dark. Pink pepper and cardamom at the top, cut through with eucalyptus and bergamot — cool and sharp, the feeling of air before a storm. Patchouli, petrichor, and wet earth in the heart. Actual wet earth. The way the ground smells right after rain, before everything dries out and goes back to normal. Moss and amber woods in the base, holding everything together into something rich, grounding, slightly feral.
It's earthy in a way that feels alive. Not heavy — present. The kind of fragrance that makes you want to know the person wearing it.
Dreams and Nightmares is for the moments that are both at once. The nights that feel cinematic. The feelings you don't entirely trust. The things you want anyway.
Two scents. Completely different energy. Both are available now on lepoqueparfums.com.
If you want to try before you commit, the Discovery Set has you covered. $25 gets you 1mL of the full collection, including both new releases.
