When I first spray this on it is a bit sharp and zesty from the apricot. It's not a syrupy apricot, it feels a bit underripe to me, but in a good way. The rum is punchy and the tobacco seems to take a backseat. I usually don't love a leather note in my fragrance, but this is softer, more subtle. The real magic is in the dry down - it's still rich and unique, sexy and warm. The amber, sandalwood and musk cradle the top and middle notes. It's true, you will have delusions of grandeur when you wear this fragrance. It leaves me feeling confident, quietly powerful, and unapologetically indulgent.
